Hey everyone, I hope you guys don't mind, but I want to put somethings about adoption on my blog. I think that adoption is amazing, so I would LOVE take a couple posts and write about some things about adoption. So here it goes!!!
First of all, some people might think that adoption is weird or wrong. But some people, (like me) think that adoption is a blessing from God. Before I go any further in my writing, I just want to point out (to you that don't know this) that my brothers and I were adopted as newborns. Anyways, I am going to be giving some facts, and answer some questions about adoption. And if you have ANY questions that you would like to be answered about adoption, then fill free to put it in the comments below. And I will try my best to answer your question.
QUESTION #1. Am I glad that my parents told me when I was younger that I was adopted, or do I wish that my parents told me when I was older?
Well, I am so glad that my parents told me when I was younger, because I think if I didn't know I would not want to trust my parents anymore. So I am SO GLAD that I found out when I was younger.
QUESTION #2. Do I know my birth family and do I see them?
Yes, I do know my birth mom and her family, but I do not know my birth father or his family. I get to see my birth family like once a year.
QUESTION #3. Do I wish I saw my birth family more?
Yes, I wish I saw my birth family more, but I am so glad that I even get to see them. Because some birth families don't want to talk or see their kids that they gave up for adoption, because it is to hard for some people. But thankfully, my birth mom and her family are not like that, so I get to see my birth family. But yes, I REALLY wish that I could see my birth family more often.
QUESTION #4. Do I wish wish I knew my birth father and his family?
I do wish that I could have met my birth father and his family. But for some reason, God did not plan for me to meet them, so I have to be fine with what HE planned.
QUESTION #5. Do I have any birth siblings?
Yes, I have two half birth brothers, One's name is Michael, he is 15 1/2 or 16. And the other's name is Kyle, and he is 10 1/2 or 11.
QUESTION #6. Have I met my birth brothers? If not, do I wish I knew them?
I have only met my younger half brother, Kyle. I used to see him, but now he lives in a different state, so I haven't gotten to see him in a long time. And yes, I REALLY wish that I have met my older half brother, but maybe one day I will get to meet him.
OK, that is all I have for tonight. I will do another part in the next few days!!! I hope you all had a blessed weekend in the Lord!!!
Romans 8:31-39
Romans 8:31-39 says,
"31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? 33 Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; 34 who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was [a] raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. 35 Who will separate us from the love of [b]Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 Just as it is written,
“ For Your sake we are being put to death all day long;
We were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
