Hey everyone, I hope you guys don't mind, but I want to put somethings about adoption on my blog. I think that adoption is amazing, so I would LOVE take a couple posts and write about some things about adoption. So here it goes!!!
First of all, some people might think that adoption is weird or wrong. But some people, (like me) think that adoption is a blessing from God. Before I go any further in my writing, I just want to point out (to you that don't know this) that my brothers and I were adopted as newborns. Anyways, I am going to be giving some facts, and answer some questions about adoption. And if you have ANY questions that you would like to be answered about adoption, then fill free to put it in the comments below. And I will try my best to answer your question.
QUESTION #1. Am I glad that my parents told me when I was younger that I was adopted, or do I wish that my parents told me when I was older?
Well, I am so glad that my parents told me when I was younger, because I think if I didn't know I would not want to trust my parents anymore. So I am SO GLAD that I found out when I was younger.
QUESTION #2. Do I know my birth family and do I see them?
Yes, I do know my birth mom and her family, but I do not know my birth father or his family. I get to see my birth family like once a year.
QUESTION #3. Do I wish I saw my birth family more?
Yes, I wish I saw my birth family more, but I am so glad that I even get to see them. Because some birth families don't want to talk or see their kids that they gave up for adoption, because it is to hard for some people. But thankfully, my birth mom and her family are not like that, so I get to see my birth family. But yes, I REALLY wish that I could see my birth family more often.
QUESTION #4. Do I wish wish I knew my birth father and his family?
I do wish that I could have met my birth father and his family. But for some reason, God did not plan for me to meet them, so I have to be fine with what HE planned.
QUESTION #5. Do I have any birth siblings?
Yes, I have two half birth brothers, One's name is Michael, he is 15 1/2 or 16. And the other's name is Kyle, and he is 10 1/2 or 11.
QUESTION #6. Have I met my birth brothers? If not, do I wish I knew them?
I have only met my younger half brother, Kyle. I used to see him, but now he lives in a different state, so I haven't gotten to see him in a long time. And yes, I REALLY wish that I have met my older half brother, but maybe one day I will get to meet him.
OK, that is all I have for tonight. I will do another part in the next few days!!! I hope you all had a blessed weekend in the Lord!!!
Seeking His face
Romans 8:31-39
Romans 8:31-39 says,
"31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? 33 Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; 34 who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was [a] raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. 35 Who will separate us from the love of [b]Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 Just as it is written,
“ For Your sake we are being put to death all day long;
We were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Whatever you do!!!
Whatever you do, before you do it, think of two things. One, thing is WWJD which is, "What Would Jesus Do". So before you do anything, PLEASE think of what Jesus would do in your situation. If you think that Jesus would not do something you are about to do, then PLEASE don't do it. Secondly, think of
1 Corinthians 10:31, which says, "Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." This is one very important thing I am about to tell you, which is. No matter how hard it is or how bad it hurts, we need to honor and glorify God. You know what, those who do honor and glorify God, will be rewarded in heaven.
Every time my mom drops my brothers and I off places, she always says, "Remember, whatever you do, remember to honor and glorify God." So I want to encourage you, that where ever you go. And whatever you do, PLEASE honor and glorify God, no matter what the case is. I know some of you might be in high school, where you get into peer pressure all the time. But when that happens, PLEASE think, Would Jesus do what I am about to do??? If you know or think He wouldn't do what you are about to do. Then don't do it. One thing to think about is, if you are in a group and you hear people gossiping about someone. Then either leave that group, or tell the group, "Guys, let's not talk about that person, because it is rude to talk about someone behind their back. And I am pretty sure you wouldn't like it if someone was doing that to you. Also, what do you think Jesus would do if someone was talking about another person behind their back???"
I bet if you told a group that, they will not be mad at you. Even if they were, I am pretty that later on in life, they will come back to you. And say that they realize that it is REALLY wrong. Even if they never come up to you and tell you that, I am pretty sure that they are thankful that you stopped them from gossiping. And you know what I think that the person would want to be you friend, because they would feel very safe around you. And would know that if you heard someone gossiping about them, then you would stop it. I hope this encouraged you, and will help you whenever you need it!!! Hope you had a blessed day in the Lord!!!

Love one another!!!
For the past two weeks at church we have been learning, Romans 12:9-11. We still have a week or two more on it. But here is some things I learned yesterday.
-1 Peter 1:22 says, "22 Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart,"-
Love one another
_________________________________________________________________________________
Romans 12:9-11 says,
"9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; 11 not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;"
5 Ways
... we can show AGAPE love to one another
#1. Let go of Hypocrisy
-Romans 12:9 says, "9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good."-
-1 Peter 1:22 says, "22 Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart,"-
-It is impossible to truly love, while hiding behind a mask- Which is saying, that, "we shouldn't be someone we are really not.
-It is impossible to truly receive love while hiding behind a mask. Which is saying, "We cannot receive love, if we are trying to be someone that we are not."
#2. Hate evil vehemently
-Romans 12:9 says, "9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good."-
Abhor means: To hate bitterly
-Hating first the evil in yourself, then the evil in others and in society. Which means, "Don't correct other peoples faults, until you correct yourself."-
#3. Cling to what is good.
-Don't let go, because if you do, that means you are not clinging. So don't cling to what is evil, cling to what is good. Cling to Jesus, because that is good.-
#4. Show devotion to each other as a family.
Romans 12:10 "10 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor;"
"Men- Wife - Children families are temporary blessings for this age. But the church will exist as a family forever." ~John Piper~
- Don't wait for others to honor you; honor them before they honor you.-
So don't wait right in the middle of the 50 yard line football field for someone to come to you. But instead, go further so they don't have to meet you in the middle. Go out of your way for others.-
-Don't wait for others to honor someone else; show the way and lead them in showing honor to that other person.-
Don't stand in the middle of a crowd that is gossiping and not say anything. Instead, tell the group that it is not right talking about others behind their back. Ask them "Would you want people talking about you this way???" I am sure if you ask them that, they will say, "No". Let us build each other up, and not bring them down.
-Show the way in honoring others-
We are gifts from God to each other!!!
I hope you were able to understand and take something away from that. This was such a great message on Sunday!!! I want to be like this, and I hope you do too!!!

We all need...
We all need to learn Forgiveness. This song is so good. PLEASE, listen to it!!! And listen to the lyrics really closely. Think about how you can apply forgiveness in your life. Has someone ever hurt you and asked for forgiveness, and you didn't forgive them??? Think... "What would I want someone to do if I ask for forgiveness from someone??? Would I want someone to reject me if I ask for forgiveness???" Always remember, when someone asks for forgiveness, remember that Christ died for your sins. And every single sin you do, Jesus washed them away for you. So forgive one another.
Ephesians 4:31-32 says, "31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. 32 Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you."
Must watch this song!!!
This is one of my favorite songs. It make's me cry watching it. "Thank you Lord for dying on the cross for my sins. I love you Lord!!!" PLEASE watch all of this movie it is REALLY good!!!
